Due to the Covid-19, our hopes of having a large wedding was made impossible. After the governor made it clear our second wedding date was not going to happen, my fiancé and I decided to have a small, private ceremony with family and a few friends and have a large wedding reception later. We planned this event in a week, and with only 4 days notice, Dorothy McDaniel was highly accessible and communicative. Dorothy met us at the venue, and she made my wedding day so special by designing and making a beautiful cascading bouquet of flowers I had initially told her I liked in our nearly 3 hour meeting where we selected and discussed everything from flower choices and centerpieces to invitations and tablecloth colors. Dorothy also created a picture perfect wedding cake topped and encircled with a floral motif to complement the ganache topping of our cake. Dorothy's professionalism, attention to detail, experience, accessibility, and design are exceptional. There is no one else I would ever ask to provide such great floral service.   - Argie L.

Professional and great service. As someone trying to send a floral arrangement for a loved one's funeral from out of state, it is stressful making flower arrangements. The guy on the phone was very helpful and said it was no problem for me to send a card with more than the allotted characters allowed through the online ordering service. Working from photos of the venue, she planned All the flowers for my daughter’s out-of-town wedding in Georgia, ordering everything from the flowers and garland to the oasis and floral tape. Our “flower team” met at Dorothy’s on Thursday morning to pick up the flowers, enough to fully pack 3 SUVs! Dorothy gave us such complete directions, including drawings, that we amateurs were able to create a truly spectacular event. Included were two very different large wreaths, table arrangements, garland and floral badges for the two-tier staircase that led down to the lawn where the ceremony was held, garland and badges for the arbor (for the ceremony) and for the entrance to the venue. It was a beautiful wedding and we had so much fun “doing” the flowers and following Dorothy’s directions! Dorothy also did a spectacular bride’s bouquet, (didn’t think that was a job for us amateurs!), which arrived the next day, via a dear family member, in an amazing holder that kept it fresh and lovely, and she also made the boutonnières and small bouquets for the mothers. This arrangement was going to be placed on pergola over a deck facing a lake in our backyard, From the beginning, Dorothy was very carefully catered to our needs, picked flowers with care, send someone out to take measurements, reviewed her ideas with me and came up with a stunning arrangement that was a super hit.
